Powdermet Celebrates Their 20th Anniversary, Opens New Euclid, Ohio Foundry Operation at August Event

Powdermet Incorporated has just been informed that they have been named to the 2016 Weatherhead 100.

Powdermet Incorporated, along with their Terves subsidiary celebrated the company’s 20th year in business in Northeast Ohio at an August 12th luncheon event that included local and state political leaders and industry experts. As part of this event a ribbon cutting was also held to recognize the grand opening of Terves’ new magnesium foundry.

Andrew Sherman, the founder and Chief Technology Officer of Powdermet stated: “We’re proud of our rich history of accomplishment, and our established position as this region’s leader in the creation of market-changing nanoengineered materials technologies. We continue be recognized for our efforts, most recently with being again named to the INC. 5000 list of fastest growing companies.” Powdermet was recognized by INC. as the 13th fastest growing private manufacturing company in Ohio, and the 20th fastest of all privately-held companies in Ohio.

For over twenty years Powdermet has developed materials science-based innovations for a variety of government and private sector users, along with successfully commercializing a range of innovative technologies for the oil and gas industry through their Terves business.

Included in the many accolades that Powdermet received were proclamations from Cuyahoga County, the Ohio State House of Representatives, the Ohio State Senate, and the City of Euclid.
