Ultra-High Energy, High Temperature Capacitors

Hybricap™ utilizes nanoengineering to enable higher energy density and higher power density capacitors with fast discharge speed that can operate at temperatures up to 400 °C

First, Powdermet is the first to develop fully functional, scalable, high-energy density film by incorporating an engineered nanocomposite high dielectric permittivity ceramic filler into a high breakdown strength polymer, without degrading the breakdown strength of the polymer, and in a fully process able system.

Second, the nanofilm system developed by Powdermet is also easily scalable and ideal for processing nanocomposite films for capacitors with high quantity film production pilot plant demonstration and capacitor prototypes have been demonstrated by Powdermet Inc.
