PMT Group to Be Panelist At The National Defense Industrial Association Mine-to-Magnet Workshop

The National Defense Industrial Association (www.ndia.org) Manufacturing Division is conducting a “Mine to Magnet” workshop on 16-17 January in Bethesda, MD. This workshop brings together stakeholders from industry and the U.S. Government to discuss challenges and opportunities to develop a secure Rare Earth Element (REE) supply chain for the United States by June 2025.
The PMT Group, a small business located in Euclid, Ohio, is one company in the U.S. that is sole source for these materials, and has established a critical materials processing facility for producing rare earth metals and their alloys from domestically sourced materials. Therefore, they have been invited to be a panelist for this workshop. Among other items, PMT Group shall emphasize that the Euclid, Ohio facility can be scaled up in months to provide this country a secure domestic supply.
