ConductMet Metal Coated Conductive Fillers

Nickle Coated Hollow Glass Spheres

ConductMet: Coated Conductive Fillers consistt of a pure nickel coating deposited using a chemical vapor deposition (CVD). Nickel is deposited into high strength glass microsphere or ceramic microsphere core particles.

ConductMet's pure CVD nickel coating offers:

Sulfate-, phosphate- and borate-free powders
Consistent resistivity value
Consistent thickness, coverage and adhesion
Reflectve and color enhancing resistance
Oxidation and chemical resistance

ConductMet's spherical hollow microsphere design produces powders that:

Are chemically inert and free flowing
Have low densitym which reduces weight and thermal mas,and which eliminates settling
Have effective resistivity at low nickel content
Have lower effective polymer viscosity
Enhance magnetic absorption

Applications for 30 micron, high strength glass microsphers core particles include: high throughput polymerextrusion for EMI shielding gasket sheets, shapes forms and static disiative sheaths or tubing.

The 100 micron ceramic microsphere core particles provideoptimum cost and perfoormance for EMI castable sheets, coatings and forms in place gasket. Properties for the 30 micron glass microsphere core particles and for the 100 micron ceramic microsphere core particles are given below.
