To place an order, please either fax your order to, Orders: 216.404.0054 or please email your order to salestechinfo@powdermetinc.com. Thank you. Materials in are sold in metric quantities. Any order requesting other than metric quantities will be converted to the nearest metric equivalent. We attempt to make complete shipments upon receipt of orders. However, it is sometimes necessary to make partial shipments in anticipation of out of stock items. If partial shipments are unacceptable, please specify this when ordering. Domestic shipments can be made via UPS, Federal Express, parcel post, or common carrier. Preferred shipping mode should be stated when ordering. Shipments requiring special documentation (MA forms, special invoices, MSDS forms, D.O.T. specifications, international shipments, etc.) and/or special handling will be assessed a $20 special handling fee for this additional service. RETURNS, REPLACEMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS Shipments may not be refused or returned without prior written authorization. Heat- and/or air-sensitive materials must be properly stored to preserve freshness and purity, and will not be accepted for return unless authorization is received within five (5) days of receipt by Purchaser. All returned items will be subject to a 25% restocking charge. Receipt of unsatisfactory materials must be reported within ten (10) days or may be subject to a restocking charge at Powdermet's discretion. When properly reported, material considered unsatisfactory may be returned for full credit or replacement. Because many of our materials have limited shelf life and are prepared fresh to order, we must reserve the right to refuse cancellation of any order. Shipments over $100 are insured at the Buyer’s expense to a maximum of $500, unless increased insurance is specifically requested. If damage occurs, immediately notify the carrier and Powdermet, Inc. Claims for damage not reported within ten (10) days of receipt of shipment cannot be honored. Deterioration occurring during extended storage by the Buyer will not be the responsibility of Powdermet, Inc. All air-sensitive materials are packaged under inert gas in sealed containers and closures are paraffin-taped. Powdermet's payment terms are net 30 days, F.O.B. shipping point. Invoices outstanding for more than 45 days will be subject to a service charge of 1-½ % per month, or a portion thereof (18% annually). Invoices are payable to "Powdermet, Inc." in U.S. dollars, net 30 days. The information contained herein is believed to be accurate, but no warranty is made nor is any implied. Powdermet, Inc. specifically disclaims any responsibility for the completeness or accuracy of any information supplied by us concerning use, toxicity, hazards, or handling of any materials. Orders will be accepted only from individuals or companies that present themselves as qualified, competent users. The user shall take such precautions as are appropriate for materials of unknown hazard and toxicity, and must assume all responsibility for the safe handling and use of these materials. Products are not intended for any application in any drug, food, or clinical item(s). Though Powdermet strives to provide materials of the highest quality, purity and repeatability consistent with realistic pricing, occasionally a shipment may fail to meet the Purchaser's requirements. Powdermet's liability with respect to all shipments is limited to material replacement or refund of the purchase price. Any other responsibility is expressly disclaimed. The materials listed in this catalog may be the subject of application or process patents. Nothing herein shall imply the absence of such patents or shall constitute a license under any existing or pending patent. No information supplied by Powdermet, Inc. is intended as a recommendation for using any material in infringement of a patent. Powdermet, Inc. does not have translation facilities. It is therefore essential that all orders and correspondence be conducted in English. This will expedite orders and information requests, and avoid errors. Shipments to foreign countries are made via Federal Express at added charge, unless otherwise specified. All foreign shipments are insured at the Buyer’s expense. If order value exceeds insurance limit per parcel, more than one parcel must be shipped. A $25 surcharge will be applied to each order processed for export. This is necessary due to increased handling and documentation requirements associated with foreign shipments.
