Discover PComP™, SComP™ and MComP™ 
 SComP™ is a metal matrix syntactic composite that is created using powder metallurgical techniques combining ultra lightweight hollow ceramic spheres with standard aluminum alloys to decrease the density of the alloys by 30-40% yet retaining up to 90% of the mechanical properties. SComP™ materials shine in their ability to absorb high-impact energies whether it is from large body impact, ballistics, blade fragments, or collisions.

MComP™, Powdermet’s super metal, is a more traditional metal matrix composite created using powder metallurgical techniques combining Aluminum with two other lightweight and high specific stiffness metals—Boron and Lithium—at the nano-level. These composites offer very high strength-to-weight ratios with final part at a density of 2.5g/cc. These final parts can be annealed or aged and are available in rod, bar, tube, plate, sheet and some near-net and net shape parts.

PComP™ is a family of metal ceramic composite particles specifically engineered for thermal spray applications sold exclusively through MesoCoat, Inc. PComP™ composites provide an optimum blend of the high wear and hardness associated with nanocrystalline ceramic materials with the ductility and toughness of metal binders.
